So Much For Selma's Shiny Image

I must have missed that Selma ever had a shiny image.

Then you misssed Obama's comments there about how Selma had gone from the dark days to an image the whole country could look up to.

This never made the NM as they tried to portray how Selma had become a cahnged place in a positive sense.

I have spent a fair amount of time in that area working to help communities solve some very disturbing water issues. It's an area that has been spit on and stomped on so much over the years that the people are numb to the word "trust". It's rarely a belief anymore as so many outsiders have come in and taken advantage of these people. This doesn't shock me at all..... :(
