It's their laws...the people in Hungary expect their country to abide by those laws and protect their borders. We should expect the same here in the U.S.

As politicians in the West struggle with how to deal with this incredible surge in refugees, the world needs to remember to treat them humanely and with dignity. They are people, awaiting their fate. By welcoming and accepting them, the West can send their oppressors a message regarding what it means to be a free democratic society.

I doubt their home country oppressors care how we treat them.

Western Europe and American allowed millions of displaced persons to come from the communist eastern European countries after WWII. They were European Christians and could easily assimilate.

What Europe is seeing in an invasion of mostly Moslem men between 20 and 40 years old. Assimilating Moslems for 3rd world countries into 1st world Christian or secular christian cultures in very difficult.

The french have almost lost control of sensitive urban zones in the Paris Banlieues because of Moslem living there in great numbers.

Letting them come slowly in small numbers and locating them to widely separate locations maybe doable, but not in great numbers.
