Everything that happened here comes back to her in one way or another. If the State Dept had not had Stevens in Benghazi or at the minimum provided the security he requested, we probably aren't talking about this. Had she not promoted the video was the cause story, we probably aren't talking about this. Had she not had that private server and used it for official government business then delete the emails, we probably aren't talking about this. We're where we are because of what she did and continues to do. She brought all of this on herself.

I don't have to portray it that way, that portrayal is being handled by the Republicans.

Don't forget the perennial investigations against the Clinton's back when Bill was present which largely turned out to be bogus. And then there was "blowgate" which only proved that the American people ultimately vote on performance than personality.

To most people, this is just the same ole same ole. All that's lacking is a special prosecutor with blank check.

I am not saying Hillary is sqeaking clean on this. She certainly stalled at telling the truth about who was responsible, presumably for political gain. And as SOS, she is ultimately responsible for whatever mistakes were made regarding security.

But the Republican Party is like the little boy who kept crying "Wolf!", after awhile it's hard to be taken seriously.

If I were Gowdy, and really interested in keeping this a non-political investigation - which I don't for a second thinks he wants to do - I wouldn't have public proceedings. It just reinforces the "here we go again" image.

This happened 3 years ago and we have had nothing but obstruction and lies out of this administration. We still don't have why ambassador Stevens was still in Lybia when everyone else had bugged out. We haven't heard ant plausible explanations for why they put out the video story. We still don't know where Obama was or what he was doing while this was going on. Hillary changes her story every 5 minutes. The families of the ones killed still haven't received a satisfactory explanation of any kind. It would be funny if it wasn't really happening.
