Lawson's Impact

I know it's only been a half with him back now

But if Carl had played the entire season, especially while being this disruptive, does it change anything? Does it make us a top 6 team?

He is destroying Tunsil and one of the dumb announcers claimed Tunsil might be the best player in the nation. Funny part is that Tunsil missed like 6 games this year.

Oh well, Lets hope Lawson continues to intimidate Tunsil into false starts and blown assignments.

I don't know about top 6, but if Lawson was healthy all year we would have probably had 1 loss an not 3 going into this game.

Need more like Carl. If he's not injured he probably has multiple sacks in this game and we possibly win and are possibly 7-1 opposed to 4-4. He has so much talent but the guy is a leader and makes everyone better.

If he finishes this year at a high level he could move on to the NFL, he's one injury from no NFL career. It's really a statement on this coaching staff that in 3 years they have not been able to put any playmakers around him.

Pass rush faded after about a quarter and a half from most. OM started running quicker developing plays and found consistent rhythm.

I think he lost his wind. You got to think that his conditioning was probably horrible.

Did you see his interview??? I don't want anybody saying anything negative about this guy and I see it because we'll have words. He's everything you could want in player. There's no question who's team this is

Lawson has been the leader of this team since he was a true freshman. I remember him chewing out a defender over a senseless scuffle.

Ok. I didn't know that. Thanks

Believe it or not, golf told me. He can be helpful when he wants.

That was a great interview from Carl. It's obvious what the coaches mean when they talk about his leadership. He has nothing to be ashamed of at all about his performance -- in fact, I thought he did extremely well, considering coming back from an injury; yet he took the responsibility for the loss and apologized to the Auburn fans.

I just hope he and the rest of the team don't read the postgame thread. Most of those folks don't deserve an apology. And Carl certainly didn't owe one to any of us.

Love me some Carl Lawson; what a beast, and he even APOLOGZIED to AUBURN for his team!!! It's not him that needs to apologize. Sad a player knows how bad it is and feels he has to apologize, but you can see how much this guy loves Auburn and wants to win for Auburn.
