We were told after Tim Allens bowl game that we shouldnt judge a coordinator off of a single bowl game......now it's okay to judge Lance Thompson after our bowl game?

I think we should promote Lance myself. Great recruiter, continuity for the defense, put together an outstanding game plan today. No reason to look elsewhere unless someone amazing just falls in our laps like Chavis.

At this point in time we are not going to find a better DC that could combine the recruiting prowess and on field results as Thompson. This is a no brainer.

Seeing as how apparently no one will actually accept our offer, we played lights out the entire game, didn't allow an offensive touchdown, it would provide staff and scheme continuity, he actually seemingly wants to be here, and he's recruited his tail off; I'd say yes. I want Thompson. His one game was better than Muschamp's season

today was the best defense that AU has played in YEARS, not just this season....i like what i saw today and LT ought to be named DC before the sun goes down, but knowing coach doublebubble, it won't happen.....
