heard the NW coach on the radio the other day moaning about how his team was not getting any respect despite their big wins....and now an underdog to a lower ranked team.. They may change the momentum at some point but NW looking like an over-rated team at the moment.

It wasn't that long ago we were in double overtime vs Northwestern w/ Chris Todd. following year we were playing in the national championship .. odds tennessee could do the same? Just a Newton away, perhaps.

am I the only one who thinks NW's qb might be concussed? Head didn't move for a couple secs after the hit and he's blinking a lot. As someone who has been concussed, I think that head whip on the hit might have done something to him.

It was a clobbering, for sure. I would not be surprised.

Well that was odd. Tennessee lines up in FG formation then shifts out of it to go for it on 4th and 10. Announcers called it a fake? Really? Shifting out of the scrimmage kick formation eliminates all premise of it being a fake. The player that took the snap (I think it was the holder) ended up throwing it away and Tennessee turned it over on downs.

good sacks by the UT d there. I'm assuming they said it because they tried to trick them, and announcers don't have the best vocabulary. Probably didn't know what to say other than football jargon.

Wow, what a great play by Dobbs. Fumbles the snap on 3rd and 2, picks it up and tightropes down the sideline for 29 yards for the TD.

clearly in bounds, wow!! NW coach, this is why stars next to players matter. Against a talented team, he couldn't take his time picking that ball up.

Tennessee played Alabama and Oklahoma very tough. Probably should have won the OU game. They're a very young team that is maturing. They'll be primed to be the SEC champion next year.

East yes, but conf champion I'd have to see them do it first. East has lost 7 straight sec title games and 2005 was the last time an east team other than UF won it.

Yes. I should have phrased that better. I think they'll be east champion.
