"Honesty is the best policy?" "Play to your strengths?" Interesting!

That is simply pathetic. The wimpification of our society. You get better by playing better competition not walking from it.

This wreaks of the "everybody gets a trophy" mentality.

True. But if FSU's performance remains the same on the field and wins a championship or two against other teams that "grind" it out, FSU struck gold.

Im hoping that some other teams will step up and be a challenge to the throne in the ACC. I believe Richt will get Miami back on track. Maybe North Carolina can continue their upward trend. Id like to see Durkin get MD going too.
Jimbo has rcruited well, so his pitch must be working.

fsu has always recruited well.

I can't imagine the ACC commish or the rest of the league is too happy about this. It's an insult to the rest of the league (even though its true),. They do play in a creampuff league but a coach making that kind of comment about the league his team is a member of, can't sit too well with the higher ups.

Maryland's in the Big Ten now.

Yeah I'd forgotten that. Hard to keep up with all the changes in conference alignment.

I will be pulling for him.

For Sissies University?

Well, it was FSCW (Florida State College for Women) before they started admitting male students and formed a football team. There's a family cousin, 80 something years old now, that graduated from FSCW back in the day. She has spoken about the long bus rides to Gainesville from Tallahassee so the FSCW girls could attend dances and other social functions.

I guess you do what seems to work.

Maybe it's just me....but I would be more interested in what we are telling our recruits....and seeing if it was delivering the goods. At the moment, seems that a good number of our "covets" are leaning elsewhere.
