Hard to win any conversation by starting out ... " this guy may have a racist streak " .

The numbers are pretty overwhelming. Race has zero to do w/ it. It's about humans.

Raptor, in other videos, he comes across a little heavy handed. Chose this one on purpose.

I think I've just seen the one gumball video, this one. Dunno what you mean by 'heavy handed ', but nothing I saw was 'racist'. Maybe someone can point the racism out to me, but overall, I think he's spot on w/ the gumball demonstration.

If anyone can explain why they think otherwise, I'll listen.

Who is arguing that mass immigration is the solution to global poverty? It certainly is not the solution, nor has it been claimed as such. In that regard, Mr. Beck is correct that immigration does not cure global poverty. He is incorrect, however, with regard to his claims that immigration actually harms the development of poorer nations. There is significant evidence that demonstrates that remittances and the transmission of ideas due to immigration leads to economic and institutional development in immigrants' home country (and some fairly convincing support regarding political development). So while these facts, too, do not suggest that mass immigration is the answer, they do invalidate his more broad arguments about decreasing immigration.
