New Year Resolutions

Did anyone make any serious new year resolutions. I only made one........to quit wasting so much time on message boards and particularly in this forum. Why?

--it is sad to see posters, INCLUDING ME, hiding behind made made up names and making insulting comments to other Auburn people they would likely never do in person.

--seeing Auburn vets calling each other names and making insulting remarks to each other

--reading posters calling someone they don't even know racists and other derogatory names.

--so much polarization and disrespect of other poster's views and opinions.

--posters who contribute little but hijack threads a lot. Just watch.

I could go on but that's enough. I AM NOT leaving the board, just not going to waste near as much time as I have been doing in the past year and try hard not to make nasty or pot stirring posts. Pure and simply it's just not a productive use of my time.

I have been a member here since almost the very beginning when it was WEN (War Eagle Nation). I met with David (DKW86) and 2-3 other guys many years ago for lunch in Madison, AL to get acquainted with David's plans. Lot's of water over the dam since then. It is my sincere wish to see RIR, Titan, and other admins and mods spend more time to make the board/forums a more disciplined place to post, i.e., a truly decent place for discussion among the Auburn Family.

I wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2016 and a great year for Auburn and our country. War Eagle!!!
