Defense played awesome that game. Ted roof called his best game at Auburn. Oregon also decided to let Fairley free up the middle the whole game which proved costly. I was so anxious on that kick. Glad it was true.

It was Ausome, I was there! I still enjoyed the Rose Bowl more (the actual game and especially the stadium/atmosphere) even though we lost (it sure felt like we absolutely dominated the seminoles for all but that final drive) but not losing to Oregon, that was hugely important so I'm glad we prevailed and Cam etched his legendary status in to Au lore.

Took my 10 yr old son and we still have very fond memories of that day and the weekend. So glad we did it. Ran into Cam the next morning at the airport..(he was flying to LA for the Jay Leno tonight show)

It was a great one only because Auburn won it. Cam didn't have a particularly good game and made some uncharacteristic mistakes. We won so, no question, we'll take it but it wasn't our best game despite having a few memorable moments. I think we peaked against USCe in the SEC CS game but thats just my opinion.

You're wrong. it is very easy to peak a week early and still win the next one. Auburn was THAT much better than Oregon..they just were! Do you even know what Im talking about when I say they "peaked" early? I didn't complain about being sloppy, I simply pointed out the obvious..which Im pretty good at.. Auburn should have beaten those guys by a minimum of 3 TDs but like I said and you evidently missed this part...we'll take it because we won!

I never buy into the argument of "should have"....especially that game since Oregon was a 1 point favorite.....and "should haves" are just opinions. BUT ...yes AU did not play it's best game....nor did Oregon for that matter.

Both teams had been off more than a month which is always a problem IMO. Still...it was one of the better recent championship games in terms of excitement and came down to the final play....and was made better still by the fact that AU won on that final play.

Gonna enjoy seeing that FG again...

That was so exciting, and had me on cloud 9 for a long time. It was sickening though when all of the bammers started doing everything they could to get Cam in trouble and the other crap that was cleared by the NCAA. The should be some type of punishment for the schools that try to do this to teams they do not like.

I am proud to be an Auburn fan and will defend this fiercely and with honor. We all disagree on different things, and this is fine. I would get bored if everyone agreed with me all of the time. I am happy with only 30% OR LESS.

That 2010 season is a great way to get into the football flow come August. I have every game from that season on my computer (of course I have them on DVD too) and will watch them in August leading up to the season every year. It's always great to relive that season.
