I tried to post a legitimate response to a post on the website and got banned. I was not rude or mean. I did not single anyone out just pointed out several facts to this one obnoxious poster and got banned. Has anyone else had this happen. Is there board really that pathetic??

BG do you ever post on that board? Are they always that paranoid?

I post every once-in-a-while, but not often. I usually just go to see if there are any rumors since they're sure to be posted there.

I stick with Tide-Talk for my major UA forum posting.

Tidefans is the biggest joke of a site on the Internet. And BG and others know that I really do like Alabama.

I still can't get over how they banned their member with the biggest reputation points and a Marine because he questioned Pennington throwing several balls and then called out an Admin who was name-calling other members then told anyone who did any name-calling that they would be banned.

Well South I might not always agree with you and BG but I will say it is fans like you that make the SEC the best conference in America. You may chap my rear every once and a while but both of you are definitely a good reflection upon your respective schools. You are a good asset to this board as well. TideFans is a joke. One thing I can say for TiderInsider is that at least now they keep the most insane posts in their private forum. The public one is pretty dead and boring now. But not TF. They display their sheer lunacy for the whole world to see, much to the embarrassment of reasonable Bama fans everywhere.

If you want to have reasonable discussion with Alabama fans, go to Tide-Talk or CrimsonTusks. Good folks at both places.

Yeah I dont post on tidefans. Here's the best way I can describe that site:

Think of 90% of the fans for their respective team who call in to sportstalk radio...I think tidefans is made up of 99% of those guys.

They whine whine whine. I post on CrimsonTusks and BOL. But not on the open forum on BOL. It seems like (for most sites) if you actually pay to be a member...all the posts on the closed forum are of the more level headed variety.

I post on TF occasionally, but not very often. I pretty much stick with CrimsonTusks.

TideFans is a great site if you rembember the following rules:

1) Never have an opinon that differs from the mods or admin.

2) Suck up to the mods and admin every oportunity you have.

3) Never post anything remotely less than positive about Alabama.

I wish the Admin had not deleted the threads that I saw after the Auburn/Alabama game in which I went over just to see what they were saying.

This guy who had a good # of posts and the highest rep on the board said something along the lines of Pennington not playing well and Shula needed to shake up the play-calling. This one admin started calling him names....and then when he called the admin on the name-calling....he was banned.

I just laughed.

I would but it was removed. Basically I was told that Auburn was not only #2 in the nation but #2 in the state as well. I asked who on earth could be number #1 in the state? I was told that the #1 team in Alabama was Hoover High School.

My response was!!

"Oh really? So if Hoover was the best team in the state and you say that Auburn is #2. By going on win-loss record and SOS Then UAB would be #3 and Troy would be #4. Now where does that leave Alabama???"

There you go!! What do you think should that have been banned?
