How Important are the Fla and Ole Miss Road Games

The SEC as a whole is better in years past. By beating Tenn, Kentucky and bama at home Auburn has shown they can play at the top levels of the SEC. They also have shown they are not that good when playing away from Auburn look at Mizzou and Vandy games. Vandy started slowly but has really found their groove recently losing to them was not that bad. Mizzou should have been an away game we could win.

Beating the three teams that we did has already made this a successful season as we have proven we can play with some decent teams and beat them even with an injury depleted team. It shows that Coach has us moving in the right direction.

To have a chance to go to post season play we have to continue to win at home and win some away games. With the momentum we have built over last two games this is probably one of our better opportunities to win an away game. I wish we were playing Ole Miss first as with the momentum we have I think they would be the easier of the two to beat. Alas we play Fla first a very good SEC team. I think it is imperative that we play a good game against them win or lose so that we continue our momentum and then go into Ole Miss and pull out a win. Ideally we win both and greatly improve our chances of going to Post Season but a solid loss to one and a win against the other and we will have broken our SEC away game losing streak which I think is very important for this team if they will have a chance of getting to Post Season.

Seems that winning road games is next to impossible for most SEC teams....about everyone but TAMU and a couple others are just splitting their home and home games. I don';t know what all does to RPI but with our losses to Mizz and Arky....it must be pretty low. A good road win or two over anyone would be helpful for the NIT at least.

LSU just won AT bama. Winning at Fl and at OM would be HUGE. That said, losing them isn't a season killer either.

definitely want a win but also for sure don't want a terrible loss... I hope that the team is on tonight.

Yeah, I don't see AU winning many, if any, road SEC games. They need the crowd to stay into it with the lack of depth. The UF game is tougher than Ole Miss but I don't see AU being in either late (which is easy to say since the UF game is almost over and AU didn't provide much in the way of competition tonight).
