they do have a good number of seniors moving on though. they also have a large contingent of ineligible underclassman ( too young) that were big contributors this year. I would imagine we see a larger number departing next year.

Maybe. Those dudes buy into the system, and Saban is clear. He advises every player that does not have a first round grade to return. Sure, there's a Vinny Sunseri that bucks the system every now and again, but for the most part, they follow his advice. Jonathan Allen, Reuben Foster, OJ Howard, and Eddie Jackson were all guarantees for the draft (and Allen was a potential first rounder). They all came back.

In spite of Barber, Auburn has historically done a good job of keeping guys in school as well. Sure, there are counter-examples, but on the whole, we've never seen the kind of exodus LSU had the last few years or the kind tOSU had this year or even the numbers UF has this year.

LSU was gutted a couple of years ago - they have talent galore but it's hard to rebound when you have a mass exodus like they had. And their fans aren't smart enough to realize those losses can have an impact in the W-L column......they'd rather fire the most successful coach they've ever had.

Yup... that's what I've been saying. I'm not sure, now that their fans have tasted what it's like to be good, how well they will handle a down year. They better hope the big name class they are bringing in is ready to play.
