Three softball Tigers named to preseason All-SEC team

AUBURN- With two weeks to go until opening day, three Auburn softball players have been named to the preseason All-SEC team.

Seniors Emily Carosone and Tiffany Howard and junior Kasey Cooper were named. All three were All-American's last season. Cooper and Carosone are the first Auburn softball players to have been All-Americans twice.

This marks the second-straight year and third time that Auburn has had three players placed on the list, and the third straight year for Carosone to be selected.

No. 4 Auburn and No. 1 Florida led the SEC in players put on the list, each with three.

Auburn will open the season at home on Feb. 11 against Appalachian State.
