Auburn Hyperloop design team wins award

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, envisioned a high speed transport system called a Hyperloop. You can read more about his vision here: https://en.wikipedia.../wiki/Hyperloop

Several hyperloop test tracks are planned. Three in California.

A nationwide contest to design the vehicles has concluded. Awards were given in 3 categories -- design and build, design-only, and subsystems. MIT students won the overall award for design of a hyperloop pod.

The Auburn team won the award for best overall subsystem.
