I used to think there were a lot of cool Bama types. Not anymore. They seem to be getting fewer and fewer as the days go on by.

I see how ALMOST EVERY POST on their sick little boards and I could go on and on here is some kind of put down of ...and they call us obsessed.

on some sites has 17 MNCs. On some sites can claim upto 11.

For 2004. . . no less than 4 BCS computer pools, the washingtonpost.com, NBC.com, the weekly standard, daily standard, Fox News, Bill Clinton, Pittsburg Post-Gazette, fanspoll.com, Monterey Herald (Claifornia), Miami Herald, The Eufaula Tribune, Valley Times-News, and several other Alabama papers ran stories, posted polls, and declared Auburn NC's of 2004... [some of these were from tigerland.com as a source]

I will concentrate a few questions for the local Tide fans.

1941: Why do you claim 1941 as legit? No-one, and I mean no-one, with bigger than a walnut for a brain will grant you that one. Heck you guys finished 3rd in the conference and you claim a MNC? WTH????

1973: I am a recovered Tide Fan. I used to bleed Crimson and White. I was at the 1973 Sugar Bowl, in the rain, at Tulane Stadium. There were so few folks there that we moved up under the overhang. The 1973 Sugar Bowl was #1 vs #2. Bama lost!!!!! 24-23. They lost the freakin game and still claim a MNC????? I know about the UPI bs. Save us all. Do you not have the balls to be real men and admit you were beaten by the REAL MNC?

1978: Bama gets their rear ends handed to them by USC @ Legion Field. 21-7? It was never that close, never. My Dad (pretty big booster) talked about the true whipping USC put on Bama for weeks. "Those big ole USC boys shoved us around all afternoon." I worked that day btw, or I could give the play by play myself.

I know USC later on lost to Arizona, but USC STILL BEAT BAMA SOUNDLY AT HOME!!!!!!! You played the NC and LOST!!!!

That is the point to be made about the folks. YOU CLAIM MNCs WHERE YOU LOST TO THE REAL MNCHAMPION!!!!!!! never got to play USC because of a horrible BCS system that ranks worse than Harvard and William and Mary!!! We did not lose to anyone and played what the NCAA calls the 5th toughest schedule in the country!!!!! BUT WE DID NOT LOSE TO ANYONE!!!!

As far as NCs we claim...you can't say anything to me since you guys self proclaim an NC this year because of some rigged internet poll.

Seems to me that there is a topic on this very board that deals with Spencer Pennington and is over 5 pages long... funny how a topic about UA end's up so long. Sounds like a double standard to me.
