Any on your list would fill out this class well. As far as J. Powe is concerned, if he progresses well and wants to sign with AU after two years in JUCO, it would not bother me in the least.

not sure about that Powe kid and his comments about 'it's just a commitment' to LSU. guess your 'word' isn't worth much. but he's only a kid. they've got a lot of folks telling them how great they are. maybe his head exploded.

Antoine Smith would make me happy. landing one out of FL like that would be nice.

Add Richard Goodman to that list. He's now listed as a 3*** by Rivals and has offers from AU, Chokalohoma, FSU, NCS etc. We really need to get A. Smith to make this class special.

With Blackmon on D and Smith on O. Our recruiting class would be pretty tough to beat. The #1 RB and the #1 LB...........That's Auburn Football! Bring it on Antone!

i think my top two would be antone smith and walter mcfadden. antone speaks for himself, but walter got our coaches raving after summer camps last year. they said he was the fastest player we had in all summer. that's the kind of guy i want at corner especially with his size.

other than them, i'd move to jon demps, brandon deaderick, brandon perry, and richard goodman, but honestly, i'll take anyone that our coaches want who wants to be an auburn tiger.

You know, it's strange. Most people's rosters are filling up fast. If I were a talented player and wanted to attend a specific school, I get off my butt pretty fast and commit somewhere. But what do I know anyhow? WDE!

I worry like everybody else about 4 stars and 5 stars. But then I get to thinking about what Auburn accomplished this past season. Those players were all recruited by CTT. The guy can recruit. What I have admired about him is that he has not only got some great players, but great people as well. He always seems to get MOST of the guys that he wants that will fit in with his system at Auburn. I have total faith in him getting good players to come to Auburn.

At the start of this Season, I think the jury was still out on Coach Tuberville. He has PROVEN himself to be THE BEST COACH IN AMERICA. He is the total package. He can spot talent and he can judge character. (And he and this staff can "Coach 'em up" after they arrive on campus!) The class and character displayed by this team makes me look forward to many-many-many great years of Football ahead with Coach Tuberville at the helm.

Get either and AU 's year will be extremely good, even special.

BTW, I saw an article on Smith that called him "the most important RB out of FL since Emmitt Smith."

That was impressive, but maybe just way overblown.

I'm kind of worried that we aren't even talking about QB's, much less recruiting them. I was hoping that with Campbell leaving we'd go after a big name guy...

Who backs up Cox? Booker? Anyone even seen Booker throw a football? I guess the unknown worries me...
