I heard about the story awhile back. Then SC wasn't gonna press charges. The stolen items were trickling back in. Yeah, right. They just keep the whole deal under wraps til they got Spurrier hired.

One of the players being charged with petty larceny is Syvelle Newton, the heir-apparent QB who started a lot of games for them this season.

I have heard it from a very good source that there is one player yet-to-be-named who is also one of their big-time offensive threats. More will come out on this story.

Darth Visor had a similar situation when he first took the job at Florida, Shane Matthews got busted for gambling and whatnot, didn't seem to hurt him back then, but this is a different situation since is far from being loaded with talent. Can Steve recruit well enough to get to a high level of play? I feel sorry for Tommy Bowden, his days are numbered, plus Clemson should have fired him two seasons ago.
