Pre-preseason poll

Yeah I know, any form of a preseason poll is complete garbage. I think we can all agree on that now, unfortunately.

But I thought this was pretty interesting. Anybody remember that mediocre team from the border state to the north that we beat twice in one season but didn't really get much credit for, eventhough they came into our game sooo hyped up?

Yeah, Tennessee. They crack this poll at #2! And they don't lose much from last year's team, mainly a RB and that loud mouth linebacker. Mediocre my foot.

Then there's that team that we played "sloppy" against and "just barely beat". Yeah they enter the poll at #5.

LSU is #8 and Georgia is holding the #12 spot.

Then there's us, still getting put waaaay back in the back, unchanged even after going 13-0. Stings guys, it really does. :hmm:

And it says "CB Carlos Rogers". What are you talking about?

this sucks. but i'll tell you guys, i think i'd rather fly under the radar at first and prove ourselves again rather than have a bullseye on our heads from the getgo. we have a lot of ground to cover, but we have some great guys coming back and great coaches. i think we'll be fine this next year no matter what some poll says.... relax, we haven't even had spring practice yet... we'll see where we are when the "real" polls come out, if there is such a thing anymore...

I think LSU had a hand in setting AU up for a poll slide after their lackluster year (especially the start) coming off the MNC.
