I heard on Sports Call yesterday that reason RB isn't playing the Senior Bowl is because he has been suffering a pulled groin. They said that he was hurt for the last 4 games of the season.

He's a beast!

Auburn star Brown has good reason for missing Senior Bowl

Take it from Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville. There's a reason Ronnie Brown's not at the Senior Bowl this week........

"Not many people knew about it, but Ronnie was fighting a pulled groin our last four games of the season,'' Tuberville revealed Tuesday while watching the South team practice at Ladd-Peebles Stadium for Saturday's annual Senior Bowl.

"I don't know how many people noticed, but he did a lot of extra stretching out on the field in warmups before those last four games.''

Tuberville said Brown fought gamely through the injury and contributed a number of big plays in Auburn's victories over Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee in the SEC Championship Game and Virginia Tech in the Sugar Bowl.

i was wondering why he didn't get many carries in the sugar bowl. he looked great when he did though even with the injury.
