stadium construction?

i was looking on the auburntigers.com site and saw that the A-Day game is set for march 19, but it says that only the west side of the stadium will be open for seating. what exactly are they doin? adding seats? anyways, just wondering if anyone had any info on it. thanks.

last thing I heard while still in school last semester was that Phase-I was over budget. The cost of Phase-I was enough to pay for what they had planned for the whole thing or that is what I heard.

I do remember reading in the Plainsman that they were over budget.

I am sure Lowder probaby just gave them some more millions to finish.

i'm glad they are doin something about the gates and fencing. i hate walkin by the stadium and seeing those ratty old chainlink fences that are all bent out of shape.

They ought to just expand to be the biggest stadium in the SEC or in the nation. The Au-Uat game would most definately sell out. Along with most others.

Helps the Auburn economy also.

The plans include adding the capacity of the "Greatest place in the world" to 92,000

I understood that an additional section will be added each season until 2007....might be wrokng on that.
