Proud Tiger 4,261
Does anyone think we will sign anyone else, maybe a JUCO?
WarTim 3,293
Anything is possible, but, I do not think so. Coach Tuberville and staff are so far ahead of the rest that they know who we are gonna' get next year.
AUesquire 1
Question. With Montavian Collier departing, does that free up a scholly?
mcgufcm 3,869
yeah, but it doesn't give us an extra next year. we can still only give 25 scholarships next year. it raises the possibility of bringing in a juco guy to start next spring and count against this year's number though. Shug2003 1
What about the ones left on the "board" although there are only a few? I am referring to those who were offered but have yet to commit. Maybe they just waited too long and are SOL! You almost wish that would happen to some of the ones who have huge egos. TrueBlue72 0
Well, I know nothing about the recruits who are still available, but I have noticed that there is one young man who really wants to be an Auburn Tiger and has an offer from Ohio State, but doesn't show as committed. He is Stephen Gowland of the Atlanta area, a TE, 6'4", 220, who has been timed as fast as 4.59 and qualified with a 1300 SAT!!! according to Scout. I suppose the coaching staff knows why, but to this outside observer, he looks like a pretty good use of an extra scholarship.

He's even said he might walk on at AU rather than take a scholly to Ohio State.

Tigermike 2,602
Where is Collier going? I did not know this! 144886[/snapback] That has not been decided yet. But with LaMarcus Rowell having such a good year at JSU, that could be a possibility. I have read that CTT would help him with his transfer.
