Jacobs and AU Athletics feed hungry children

I know a lot on here are against JJ but as I've said all along in this regard that there is whole lot more to this position than wins and losses. It's about forming good people from young men and women and doing what is good and right at every opportunity.

Great article about JJ and AU Athletics leading the way in the USA on being positive role models and stewards of good work in the community. JJ has for years led Auburn Athletics down a path of goodwill and decency that far outweighs what I've seen other universities commit to.  These are the things that should truly make folks proud to be Auburn Tigers.

"Jacobs delivered a keynote address at a global summit at the University of Missouri, where he was recognized as one of the world leaders in the fight to end child hunger."

How good and generous someone is as a person though is not a precursor of how one will be as a AD. The 2 do not go together. From what I can gather a lot of people for the most part have very positive things to say about JJ the person. Again though that has nothing to do with how good or not someone is going to be as a AD.

Sad that we can't give praise to a guy who is elevating the image of Auburn athletics without feeling the need to attack him in some way. We do have a knack for eating our own...

No problem with JJ as a man, he is a fine person, strong Christian and loves Auburn. Now, if just a much higher % of his coaching hires would pan-out.
