Well I could move my comment to the BLM thread if it would make you feel better.  It's close by.

So the answer is " no ", you didn't read the article.

But hey, if you want to be the coward who doesn't even want to have the race discussion, as Eric Holder said you were, fine. I understand.

You sound like one of those threatened white guys who refuses to even acknowledge what BLM activists are saying with their own voices.

Rattle your own chain in your own private time, by all means.

The irony of you calling anyone else out for commenting without reading articles should have given you a concussion.

Actually, I read the article.  In fact, I'd already read another, much better written, article on the subject already but read your link just to humor you before commenting.

Quit while you're behind but still within earshot.

Oh yeah, sure you read a better article. Whatever the hell thats supposed to mean. Why not try commenting on the topic even a little? Instead of taking these inane personal pot shots, as the unbiased arbiter that you are.

A semi serious person might've added the link that he claimed he read, so as to at least pretend to stay on topic.

What the hell it's supposed to mean is that it talked about it like a functioning adult.  I have a hard time believing you were looking for reasoned discussion when the linked screed starts with, "If you bump into a millennial snowflake with a white puzzle piece pinned to his or her shirt, be wary, for said individual is quite likely a complete buffoon."

And what is there to comment on?  Some millennials are talking about white privilege again.  Is there a deep discussion to be had here?  Is there something that could be said about privilege that would change your mind one whit?  Given the article you chose to link, I highly doubt it.

But regardless, I don't ever want to hear your take on any subject in a thread where you haven't bothered to read the article ever again.  That oblivious retort to homer removed that privilege from you once and for all.

See the difference is I actually talk about the topic, whether I read a biased opinion piece or not. Unlike you, who claims to have read the article, but then ignores the topic. That seems to be a point of distinction that somehow escaped you.

When it comes to willingness to discuss topics on a deep level, I run so many rings around you, you look like a human version of Saturn.  You almost never talk about the topic.  You usually obfuscate, make insults, throw out red herrings, go off topic, deflect, shift blame - absolutely anything other than discuss a topic.  I honestly don't know how you can even stand to be with yourself spewing his much bull**** in such a short span of time.

And I didn't "claim" to read it, I read it.  I don't see a whole lot to discuss.  Why don't you give us some direction on where you were hoping to go with it?  Are we discussing whether white privilege is a real thing?  Are we discussing goofy millennial snowflakes?  Since you've got this sudden newfound interest in discussing things, how about facilitating one for once instead of being your normal self?

Titan -  feel better about yourself now? And yes, you did claim to have read an article, which still remains mysteriously absent from this discussion. Link ? Name ? Title? Author?  Any citation will do, but for some reason you seem to want to keep it hidden from the thread.

I suppose you have your reasons.

Look, you started this thread.  I read the article.  It's not all that deep or interesting.  So I've asked you:  what is it specifically about the article you wish to discuss?  If you don't want to do that, say so and we can just let it drop down the forums.

You're being given the floor and and suddenly you're a mute.

Most of what you've done from the very start is irrelevant name calling and insults )   So I've asked you:  what is it specifically about the article you wish to discuss?  If you don't want to do that, say so and we can just let it drop down the forums.

You're being given the floor and and suddenly you're a mute. ( Oh, gee, sorry. I had to take out the garbage and wait for the pizza delivery guy. Hard to hear the doorbell from my basement operations, ya know.  )

Still no link to this phantom article you claim you've read, huh ? <_<

You and others chide me for ONLY speaking my mind, and never offering up citations or links,  but then when I DO offer up a story complete w/ a link, you then flip flop and ( not shockingly ) claim this story is not deep or all that interesting.  As if that really matters one damn bit. Oh, and when I do nothing but ATTEMPT to stay on topic, allowing others to chime in, the usual suspects do nothing but troll and insult, and continue to lie, which apparently is consequence free, assuming they do so against the proper individuals. ( conservatives )

Well, I guess that's probably because the focus of the story - white privilege - is itself shallow , divisive and pathetic, and yet the sniveling snowflakes at this college who are trying to promote it are doing a fine job at mocking themselves. Much like the BLM thread I started, the LINKED story self mocks as well, and there really isn't much to discuss.

Idiots are revealing their true selves  w/ out the filter of the MSM or former Presidents trying to praise them for being something they aren't.

It's not a "phantom" article.  It was just an article that managed to tell the story without all the added nonsense.

I'm not at home, but I think it was just the link from Fox News:

You offered a link to an article written by an idiot, but little else.  But I couldn't help but notice you calling someone out for your primary modus operandi around here.  You are the undisputed king of opinions on things you haven't bothered to read.

That's your opinion, not objective fact. But even if it were " fact ", the topic is still the main focus of the thread. White Privilege is flat out rubbish. Nothing but the latest version of guilt laden blame shifting, which only was allowed to foment and grow w/ the ample amount of " fertilizer " supplied by the prior administration.

That he's an idiot is my opinion.  That you offered little beyond the article written by said idiot is an objective fact.
