Saying "radical Islamic terrorism" isn't helpful

(CNN)New national security adviser H.R. McMaster is already setting a strikingly different tone than his ousted predecessor, Michael Flynn, and President Donald Trump, saying the term "radical Islamic terrorism" isn't helpful for US goals.

At an all-hands meeting of the National Security Council on Thursday, Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster said jihadist terrorists aren't true to their professed religion and that the use of the phrase "radical Islamic terrorism" doesn't help the US in working with allies to defeat terrorist groups, an official present at the session confirmed to CNN.

The phrase is unhelpful because terrorist organizations like ISIS represent a perversion of Islam, and are thus un-Islamic, McMaster said, according to a source who attended the meeting.

* They call themselves 'Muslim'.  Former Muslims universally say that - Yes, this is what Islam teaches. these terror groups are just going about it more directly. Only the method is a bit more violent, but the over all intent is actually shared... global Islamic domination. Obama was well known to have aided in the enablement of Muslim Brotherhood members who are working globally to undermine your values and beliefs as we speak.  Open your eyes to what is actually happening; all these "little" power moves ("Islamophobia", etc, etc, etc) are steps in a chain to weaken Western defenses by a culture/religion that has openly been at war against YOUR culture for a ~thousand years.

How do you figure it helps to fight an enemy blindfolded, or with one hand tied behind your back?

This argument has no clear answer.  You're not going to convince me for one second that kissing Islam's ass is going to "win the war" by eventually converting enough of them onto "your side".  That isn't problem solving, nor is it feasible when you consider the fact that they are reproducing at a rate much faster than you can "convert good Muslims".

So there's no middle ground to occupy between alienating those who could be helpful and "kissing Islam's ass?"  It must be one or the other?
