Drug tests at uat. You would have thought nicky would've suspended him :-\

"Williams said he failed “a few” tests in his four years at Alabama but would not confirm what drug the positive tests were for or exactly how many he failed."

I like how Williams is vouching for the character of Foster. I'm waiting for Cam Robinson to weigh in on gun safety. I'm putting out an over/under for 48 hours for the Al.com/Bama propagandist to begin their spin machine for damage control.

It was all the outside work with no airconditioning that made him do it. He had to have something to make him "chillout".

Why would we think that?  Isn't this the same player that was arrested on campus for weed possession last summer?  He was smoking in the parking lot of a store on campus?  He didn't miss a game after that so this isn't surprising in the least.

Every coach has a choice, they run their team the way they want to run it, and Tim Williams was a crucial piece of their team.

I agree completely, I was being 100% sarcastic.  ^-^

i am surprised, though, that this isn't getting more attention. Here is a player admitting to failing multiple drug tests for who knows what kinds of drugs, and little nick obviously didn't hold him to the university's failed drug test policy.

Really... after year upon year of the bama run media sweeping their transgressions under the rug, you're still surprised?  I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it came out post some bama player's NFL season, and after the NCAA statute of limitations, that the kid had killed someone under Saban's watch and it was successfully buried.

The non response from the state media doesn't surprise me in the least, but I would think that there are some media guys in other areas with a little bama fatigue that would exploit this.

Unfortunately, they have done a great job of permeating bama grads throughout all of sports media.  All they need to do is control the big outlets, anyway, and that can pretty successfully squash the smaller outlets.  I think all of the little people who used to complain loudly about the double standard have come to realize that they are p***ing in the wind and given up.

The Foster thing is one of the best examples ever... Kelly being held out of the Combine because he got into a drunken bar fight several years ago was nationally covered news, but Foster getting kicked out for threatening a medical staffer because he thought they were inconveniencing him is a non-story.  That's part of why bama is such an easy sell, because these kids know that, if they play good enough, they will have their backs covered.

The "spin machine" will simply ignore the story. Nothing to see here; move on. Impeach the governor. Build the wall...
