Imagine waking up and going to work every day with the hope of kicking people off health care to give more tax cuts to rich people

Stated by Tex while wearing his pink vagina hat. Thanks Tex. Your partisan feelings are truly noted.

Explain where he's wrong.  The GOPs plan will result in fewer people having health care.  Some who have it now will no longer have it under their plan.  They also plan to give tax cuts that will be a huge amount of money to very rich people.

First and foremost, he should have never donned the hat.  Secondly, he could have manned up and admitted the ACA sucked for much of the country. Now, I'm quite sure some will argue this plan sucks as well and it may. But to pretend nothing wrong with former is delusional if not ignorant.

p.s. I love the way you come to his aide. Nicely done.

Sorry elle, not gonna lie, I never wear pink. And it is calling out partisanship that offends you to be clear. Your post makes that point rather obvious.

Nevertheless, I respect your opinion regardless.

You do know that the reason Republicans want to get rid of ACA is because it will result in cutting taxes for the rich?

And I really thought you'd learned your lesson about commenting on what people were wearing. :P

No hat, but have a nice pink tie. Of course, I never said ACA had no problems. Wish we had statesmen willing to fix them.

Healthcare is not a right, so yeah, I'd relish that thought. It's something which needs to be earned. Those who get something for nothing have no room to whine. Graciously accept what was given, and maybe it'll strive you work harder enough to earn it yourself.

Rich pay too many taxes.

Well, I figured you'd have no trouble imagining it.

Not like you to care about the needy.

Republicans lack the ability to think outside the box.  A healthy population creates a more stable work force. People don't choose to have cancer, diabetes, heart disease. Saying that healthcare isn't deserved unless you earn it is heartless. How is a cancer stricken child supposed to earn money to pay for chemo? Should that child be denied healthcare because his parents cannot afford it?

Please lose the judgemental claim that people just want a handout. That's nothing more than glorified BS.  Repealing ACA is all about giving handouts in the form of tax breaks to the wealthy. And that's where the real drain on your tax dollars is.

All that hate crowds out rationality.

Oh spare me the " beneifts far outweigh the costs " crap. That tired old line has been used over and over, and what has it yielded ?  Fat , low wage workers , whining for 15 $ an hour, but not TOO many hours, or else they'll lose their govt bennies.

And yes, people DO choose poor health, from the daily choices they make.  Don't smoke, dip, drink to excess, eat or drink sugar laden foods.... yeah, more times than not, it IS a choice, and not " glandular ".
