Some of these guys playing Arena league ball and in the CFL should have made it in the NFL. Lack of focus or lack of drive has cost them a lot of $$$.

Who is the biggest suprise on this list? Who would you most have expected to be playing on Sunday afternoons (in the fall ... when football is supposed to be played)?

I said Slack. For those of you that didn't get to see him play much, he was a little like JC in that by the time he was a senior, you felt real good about your chances with him under center. He was a very accomplished QB by his senior season.

Martavious was my second choice.

Yea but Wes you gotta' remember that Daniels was 46 by the time he opted for the NFL.  He only had a year or two left at best. :big:

He's speedy with a walker. Don't count out the graybeard.

Martavius was a player. He could knock the snot out of somebody. Plus, I love ANY player that single-handedly is responsible for beating Bama (ie. Tre Smith).

Wonder what would have happened if he hadn't been released from the team for "breaking an undisclosed team rule"?

Who voted for Lizard?

That was the worst scholly ever for tater. 5'7" 157lb running back. Puhlease.

This guy was prototypical WR and could have been a great one. I am truly surprised he made it all anywhere. That has to be a testament to his speed and determination. But while at AU he still thought he could play RB in the SEC.....

Slack had all the tools but never got a chance. Kinda like Craig. Was holed behind other QBs who IMHO has less talent.

DAMN right. I was watching that game on TV in a bar in Columbia, SC. My sister comes up with a few minutes left in the game and say's to me, all consoling-like, "Sorry about Auburn, dude." And she meant it sincerely, too. But, like a jerk of a brother, I bit her head off and informed her that the GD game was NOT over yet, and to keep her yap shut. Well, two seconds later, Martavious knocked "the snot" out of that poor Bama fool and the rest is history.

My sister has never doubted Auburn again. She's married to a stupid Hokie, of all things, but believe me, she's a Tiger by blood, and I owe it all to Martavious Houston.
