He's treated so unfairly.  Practically a martyr the man is.

So you agree he should give everyone two scoops. That's just great.

It is interesting that the people who seem to hate him most have never spent even a minute in his presence and are only being influenced by what other people say.....other people who for the most part have never spent a social minute in his presence either.....and often have their own agendas in play. So CNN hasn't got time in their short new casts to cover serious news but somehow can find time and money to write about his meal preferences...as if he took that second scoop of ice cream right off the plate of some homeless child.

Odd that the people who actually meet him personally..., sit in meetings with him, etc don't seem to feel that personal dislike afterward....well maybe other than Comey.:)

The guys is a schmoozer and BSer....it's how he conducts his business...which worked in business but not doing so well in politics it looks like ... but personal hatred is mostly irrational ....JMO

That's some good stuff right there. Might win the Pulitzer Prize someday. CNN is showing such bravery in a time of Hitlerish and dictatorish reminders. They even are braver than those that go into hiding. Oh no, they show up in the CNN building, stare into the mirror while someone puts on their makeup and they tell themselves "No Trumpf, you will not shut me down. I will stand tall and be part of the resistance. I will take you down piece by piece or in this case scoop by scoop. If only there had been more people like me, Hitler might have been kept in check. It's starts with ice cream and ends with millions of executions. Not today Trumpf, not today "

A gullible moron is someone who would start a thread like this but remain quiet while a sitting president intimidates witnesses.

or a president admits to obstructing justice.

I truly don't get why people don't get my point: Voting against Hillary in 16 was entirely defensible. Using her as a standard in '17 isn't.2:08 PM · May 14, 2017

But it was ok for Democrats use John McCain, asking what he would have done differently than Obama on things like stimulus spending, the NSA, etc....

We heard Democrats also say Romney's plan wouldn't balance the budget in 2013 and that standard was even used by you in early 2016.

Anyone reading this thread can see you're the one with the partisan blinders. Neither McCain or Romney had a plan to balance the budget. And the balanced budgets of the 90s were possible because of Clinton's 93 budget.

Yep. Fact. No one had a plan to balance the budget. You miss the point.

Hate HRC all you want. Judge Trump on his actions now. There's one President.

But my point is that that's not what you did when it was Obama who was president. I just posted an example of you dismissing criticism of Obama's budget by bringing up McCain and Romney.

They were arguments you were making to defend Obama's actions.

But Bush...................... McCain, Romney wouldn't have been any better.......

You want it both ways.

No. You're missing the point. Trump is behaving in unprecedented ways that are a danger to our Republic. Patriots don't just dismiss that with whataboutisms. These aren't  just policy disagreements. Goldberg is a partisan Republican and he gets that.

You and Goldberg have one thing in common, you both hate Trump. Go ahead and post Charles Krauthammer's opinions too. Quite a few neo-cons don't like Trump because his stinging criticism of the neo-con leaders the Bush's, particularly W during the GOP primaries. Everyone knows some Republicans still have resentment of Trump for the things he said about W and Jeb. They loathe to say anything positive about Trump.

Do you have any concerns with his performance?

I'm concerned he's been too accommodating to people like Paul Ryan on healthcare.

Trump should have tried harder to include things like allowing people to shop for insurance across state lines and the ability to gets cheaper drugs from Canada. Instead, Trump delegated too much to Paul Ryan and allowed Ryan to get what he wanted instead of things Trump has publicly pushed for also.

Trump should focus more on jobs and tax reform instead of worrying about the media. He needs to be more focused in relaying his messages to the rest of his team so they don't get bogged down with having to speak on things Trump hasn't talked to them with.. He needs to let his staff be the attack dogs of the media. Let them relay his messages and plans. That way he can focus more on jobs and tax reform. He and his administration are going to keep getting off track by Trump constantly going back and forth with the media by himself all the time.

What are the reasons you think he does that?

With the media, I think Trump likes attacking the media. So much that it's sometimes to his detriment. He's got to pick and choose his battles. There's some things that are better left to his people to deal with and Trump should just give his material to his staff so they can use it and be on the same page and won't end up trying to explain what Trump means.

But can he control his impulses and let his staff do their jobs? And does he make their jobs unmanageable?
