Trump has also blasted Clinton associates for pleading the Fifth, arguing, “If you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?”

Yep.

Personally of course, I believe protection against self-incrimination is a basic human right and exercising that right should never be taken as an admission of guilt, and believe that is exactly as the writers of the 5th Amendment intended.

But I also recognize the hypocrisy of treating it like an admission of guilt when others use it, then using it yourself and expecting not to be so judged.

His primary mistake might have been calling out his boss....and I'm talking about Obama.

As was every other incident where an Obama or Clinton staffer took the 5th...it's what people in Washington DC do...or haven't you noticed ?  Maybe not. That other stuff may predate your interest in politics. . 

What is an apparent fantasy is that some folks seem to go to bed each night praying that some REAL scandal will be turned up about Trump...but instead have to trump up some imaginary scandal and run it out for the approval of the four other posters who seem to share their passion for anything anti-Trump..

Keep it up...you must have plenty of time to waste if chasing down stuff like this post really captures your time and attention.

It is odd that Trump kept going to bat for Flynn while constantly receiving information that he should not.  Why would you do this?  It is also interesting that the initial investigation into Trump was started by other Republican candidates running for the Presidential nominee.   When credible information was found, it was then turned over to the the proper agencies to further investigate.  The Republican Party has brought this against themselves all for a guy who is just posing to be a Republican, the man has no values.  Just cares about himself.  He shows more signs of seeing himself as King and not representing 300 million Americans.  This is starting to alarm more and more people.
