The hate Trump media has now reached the disgusting point. Kathy Griffin is just typical of the hate. She should be fired but of course she won't. Surely no one will support this kind of crap.

I would not characterize Kathy Griffin as typical of anything, or as a representative of "the media". She is an actress and comedian, not a journalist. She is also not a stranger to controversy.

Im mixed about stuff like this. Sure this stuff ticks me off some, but nobody seriously looks up to her. Its really not that "outrageous" when you almost compare this to like an 8 year old calling somebody a butt head. The news media should have just moved on to more adult stuff. The fact that they all put this out and made her relevant as well as providing a "how to get a weeks worth of fame"  for other idiots is more disturbing to me.

This is a good point.  Griffin is an entertainer.  She's not the "media" much less the "hate Trump media."

I'll leave it up to the Secret Service and the Courts to decide if this is an actual threat or simply protected free speech. Hanging or burning leaders in effigy certainly has a long history as symbolic protest.

For myself, I think it was ill advised, and her apology seems to indicate that she didn't think it through clearly.  But I'm not going to lose any sleep over it, nor stereotype it as symbolic of a "Hate Trump media".

CNN fires Griffin. Kudos to CNN. Regardless of who or what she is, she did her thing on CNN. Maybe CNN is seeing some light after getting a 93% negative rating on their commentary/stories about Trump.
