True, but the tactic of the left is, for example: If you shoot yourself in the foot, you scream "I'm a victim of lax gun control!" Then you are a victim instead of an idiot and "your" type of people will coo over you and love you and murmur "oh, you poor thing you need a safe place." Then everybody is supposed to forget that you are an idiot that shot yourself in the foot.

Perhaps you missed Hilldabeasts parade of speeches this past couple of weeks where she added to the list of reasons she lost (other than the obvious one you point out above)...and then poor Kathy Griffin's tear filled news conference where she broke down and blamed Trump for her "performance art"; and then of course Comey blamed everyone for every problem he's ever had...the victimology just went on and on...but of course, I can clearly see your point of view as well....hard to argue with any point you've made :-)

Yes, but this is recreational fun, not outrage. If H. Clinton's claim that she lost the election because of "Macedonian Operatives" doesn't get a belly-laugh from someone I don't know what could. Those sneaky Macedonians have been making trouble since biblical times.
