Our 2 best OL are hurt, our best RB is hurt, and our qb is struggling.

What are we good at? What direction do we go? How do we score on MS ST?

If you come up with an answer please send it to Gus.

Put in Malik Miller.  Dude looked like a bowling ball last night.  It could be just what the doctor ordered for this beat up line.  Keep spreading the defense out with sweeps and 4 wide.  Keeping throwing it downfield to keep the Dbs off the line

I like it

More short to intermediate passes to counter the lack of protection by the offensive line.

Get the tight end more involved in the passing game

Give Harold Joiner (bigger, more physical RB) more playing time

it is time for some tough love. the problem is not sure we have anyone on the o line or qb that would not be a step down. but maybe it still needs to be done. folks are upset with jimbo grabbing a players facemask but sometimes you need to get their attention. if gus at least chewed out stid and the line instead of making excuses i would feel much better. hell let the public know you are upset as well and do something other tan " we need to get the running game going".

Call one of the Briles boys. We don’t need them to teach an ethics class or anything just give some ideas on spreading the field and quick passing concepts. I doubt Briles always had super great offensive lines at Baylor but they rolled up yardage like it was going out of style.

Also, that manning camp is garbage

I think you're on to something. We've clamoured that Gus needs to let his players train outside of Auburn in the summer but the most improvement we've seen from a returning QB under Gus was Marshall, and we did that in-house. (IIRC)

Man, last night sucked. A couple of things that I still ask- where are the plays we saw vs washington/lsu. The bootlegs, the checkdown to chandler cox, the quick slant, the post over the middle. To me it was clear themat malzahn/chip wanted to get some explosive plays and get stidham to connect on a few of those, but it felt like they were forced. I dont get why malik miller never got any rushes. If we need a dude who can push the pile, He seems like that guy. Big kudos to kam martin though for stepping up i do think hes a very capable back. Theyre gonna habe to figure something out and i sure hope nix is more of a fitzgerald/wilson style than a stidham style

Heck if I know. I started the thread last week about "pass to set up the run". It looked like that's what we tried last and it sucked.

I've seen some good ideas in above comments. (I.e. Run Miller, call Briles, throw short to intermediate passes and have a hot route, Gus needs to chew his offense out and show some freaking emotion, sit Stidham)

Blah blah blah....

I think I saw an RB screen pass last night. It worked.

It looks like to me the Oline doesn't want to really forcibly touch someone. Are they taking classes on sexual assault prevention in the workplace? Because they seem to shy away from contact. It's a problem.

I think the main problem is Gus doesn't use profanity. Because this team needs an a$$ chewing.

Our whole issue is that Gus/Chip cannot/will not adept or evolve our offense to fit the personnel that we have now.  All it takes is a little want too.  But Gus is way to stubborn to change.   Plain and simple.

I really want to see the "results" from a manning came attendee  from before and after.

To answer the OP question honestly, what DO they do?

Absolutely nothing.  We will see the same plays and same performance this coming week and thereafter until Gus loses the team.

The defense is laying it's guts on the line every game and it's resulted in "wins" so Gus is SATISFIED.

TBO they may even beat MSU as they were vastly overrated as well.  But aTm, thUga & bammer are L's and frankly probably Ole Miss.

I’m not willing to give up OM and A&M yet but they certainly are not gimmes.

I believe their offenses will be far & away the best Auburn will face til Amen Corner.  If the O truly stays it's course, the D will finally have to give (a la the LSU game).  MSU seems not that great and truthfully this team can probably use a road game as home field advantage ain't much this year either.
