Envious of teams with offense

Really disheartening to watch teams all over the country run an offense and score points.

A lot of them using Gus type plays. Using all their players, freshmen, walk ons, seniors doesn't matter.

Texas right now putting on a show. Wish Auburn could do what most teams can.

Lets hope the defense can score some points today, maybe we will be surprised and see some execution by the offense.

Well most teams have defense envy. Which we have the best in America . Offense will come around boss . The lost improvement is made from game 5-6 right? Maybe 2-3 . Maybe game 1-4 . Anyways it will come boss

We'll, you can always look at it this way 😎

All of those teams that are on the receiving end of those offenses you are watching probably wish they had a defense like ours....

Yeah, having both would be nice too, just trying to be positive.

100%

Maybe tonight we turn the corner and have a breakout offensive display of good Auburn football. I keep saying this each week, but tonight might be the night we all have been hoping for.

I think tonight is going to pleasantly surprise us. I was encouraged by the offensive line play at the end of the game last week. Granted, it was against a tired Southern Miss team, but we may very well have picked up some sort of momentum with it. I don’t think Malzahn was playing the right guys on the line and the injuries may very well have MADE him change personnel and see the benefits of it. I’m looking for our defense to play real lights out football tonight, and to see an offense that has taken a small step forward. Screens, slants and drags abound tonight.

I remember when we used to say the same thing about teams with defenses

True. Im not sure which is more frustrating, not being able to stop anyone or not being able to move the ball

D and STs can win a bunch of games, the Pros traditionally have followed that philosophy, obviously things have changed a good bit there.
