DKW's Rant on Hollywood.

OK, this may sound a bit over the top. Some will say, "That's nothing new for you DKW." Anyway, here goes...

I recently saw part of Troy. Great story that has been told dozens of time on film. This movie was so bad for me that I turned it off. Now, I loved Gladiator. It had flaws in it but it was a not too over the top tale and the story was not a known commodity.

In Troy I saw a music video pretending to be a movie. The shots were forced and the time spent in body shots of Pitt got old and monotonous. This is a story about character, nobility, tragedy. It is not about Brad's "I only worked oput 5 hours a day to get this body" pecs. They rewrote the story and turned into a Lifetime movie. I just cut the thing off. I could take no more.

Now dont get me wrong, that is attracrtive in a Hawaiian Tropic kind of way. But every woman is not that way.

Real beauty does not have to be blonde, blue eyed, stick figures with breast implants and poofy lips.
