Politifact does lean to the left as many fact checkers do because that's where the audience is. Not much demand from the political Right for facts or explanations of things. 

 

 

Unfortunately, void of facts is currently acceptable. Hearsay will suffice. And then of course when proven wrong there is no recant not apology.
