My Humble Opinon

I won't bother being a Sunday QB and criticizing this team. Just a few observations however:

1. It was great meeting a lot of you who came by AU Tailgating Rules' tailgate open house. Some of us were there early and late. My wife and I left at 12:30 am. Thanks to AU Tailgating Rules for being a great host.

2. Obviously the team didn't look good. They didn't seem pumped up before the game. Could it be that the team was a little down since several players haven't heard from relative in Louisianna? I made a run to Gulfportt last Wednesday to take some stuff down to friend who had lost their home. After seein that and all the TV horror pictures all week, I have to admit my mind wasn't completely on the game.

3. The thing that bothered me most was hearing our three-percenters (pick a number) openly and loudly bashing our team and coaches after the game. These are Auburn fans? Not in my book. They are typical fair weather fans who don't knw jack what they are talking about. Some are showing their asses here and all I have to say to them is.....

4. I can only say that if we had won, I wouldn't be a better Auburn Tiger today. But we lost.....and I'm not a worse Auburn Tiger today either

Last night was not the first time I have had my heart broken by the Tigers and I bet it won't be the last. I am as disappointed as anyone...well, not anyone. The players and coaches have to be sicker than we are.

We may have more growing pains coming but these guys will make us proud.

Even though our Tigers [played none to well Saturday, I will count that as likely one of my best days in Auburn. I really enjoyed meeting you guys and we need to do that more often.
