He goes on the air and spouts his drivel, for one and only one purpose...TO DRIVE RATINGS. On the side of things he has a problem. He a few callers etc but rally nothing to amount to much. I-Man, etc and the few others, your truly included from time to time just dont make many waves. You see Auburn folks: 1) Dont really care for Finebaum. 2) We have real jobs and careers, that take time. 3) We are mature enough as fans to know that a single loss is not the end of the world and that these are 18-23 year old kids out there. 4) CTT has gotten to the point where he basically ignores PF. Wins Iron Bowl, nothing for PF. Wins SECCG, nothing for PF. Wins Sugar Bowl, nothing for PF. Wins PNC Trophy, nothing for PF. See a pattern? ON the Bama side of things He has the ever full bucket of crap. He has a full table of crazies that call in and humiliate themselves for him. Shane, Phyllis, Jim (I am a better baseball player than Willie Mays) from Tuscaloosa. 1) At now, beating MTSU and folks are buying Rose Bowl Packages. 2) Can get a 4 hour conversation going just bashing Shula or guessing about his real job status. 3) Say anything about and the unemployed call in in droves. You see, I called out PF recently in HSV. I asked him about being "duped" on the witness stand in Tuscaloosa. He said to me, in front of John Pruett, Jamie Cooper, Gary Dobbs, and about 100 more: DKW: "Paul, I want to ask you about your comments in court in Tuscaloosa. When you were there, you said that Tom Culpepper had duped you into believing things you now find to be untrue..." PF: interupting. "Are you saying I lied under oath?" DKW: "Well.....I didnt say THAT." (Actually, I was saying THAT and PF knew it.) PF: Looking at Vickers et al. "Did I really say duped?" They shake their heads yes. DKW: "Paul, I just have a real problem with you saying that anyone duped you, that you didnt check out a guy like Culpepper's Story." PF: "Well, I may have stretched the truth a bit on the witness stand. I wasnt duped by Culpepper. Everything he told me was verified two three times over by members of the Dubose staff." more... In other words folks, PF was just playing to the crowd in Tuscaloosa, just like he plays to the crowd on his show. He might have even have risked perjury (if there was a really good, attentive Judge in the case) just so he could play to the crowd. If PF would risk that, then what should we take from his show everyday, especally since he is bashing CTT at every turn? Well, maybe he is just doing what he really does best. Playing to the crowd. I can tell you folks that PFs copmments about Auburn recently are totally delusional and they are made to get us to call in and defend CTT and Auburn. He knows that things he is saying about and CTT are so bogus as to question his real motives. What should we do? What we should do is listen to him twist in the wind as he fills dead air. I brought up many of those same points about all his blather being for nothing more than ratings and the fact that AUBURN PEOPLE DO NOT CALL HIS SHOW!!! PF talks as if he has his finger on the pulse of every subject. cough...cough...BS...cough. Question: If Auburn folks don't call him, how does he know jack squat about what Auburn people feel about any given situation? I-man is an embarrassment. Bobby is okay sometimes but he's on the payroll anyway. Someone try and name 3 other regular Auburn callers. Long pause.....crickets chirping....Jeopardy soundtrack begins......
