I have hanging on my office wall "What is Auburn" by David Housel '69.

What is Auburn

"Far be it from me to try and answer that question. There are as many definitions of Auburn as there are Auburn men and women.

It would be safe to say, however, that Auburn is much more than a football game. It is much more than winning and losing.

It is a spirit. It is an attitude. It is a way of looking at life and at one another. It is, almost, a way of living. Unless you have exsperienced it, you will never know what it is, you will never understand it. Once you have experienced it, you will never be the same. A part of you will, forevermore, be an Auburn man or an Auburn woman."

Finebaum is the antithesis of all that is Auburn. I haven't listened to his program other than at most a few minutes one day this week. My intent was to determine if Auburn people were still calling in to his program ... I was hoping there would be none, but there was one. To listen to this guy is like listening to someone trash your mother, father, or sibling. I just don't understand how someone who loves Auburn can listen to this contemptible megalomanic's ramblings.

What value can PF's opinions about anything Auburn possibly be to an AU person? He has repeatedly proven himself to be of ignoble character ... I have not heard anything but baseness spew from him.

I stopped listening to him early last year after he made fun of Carnell's speech when he announced he was going to stay at Auburn for his senior year. I had sworn off on listening to him before for similar reasons, but his ridicule of Carnell that day was the last straw for me. I am now proud to be Finebaum-free.

If I had dime for every e-mail and question I get about PF, I could retire.

I just about have to listen to just to be able to answer about 20% of my e-mail. But now I listen with a guffaw on my lips.

Today he had a "Roundtable" Shanehead, Jim (IAABBPTWM)from Tuscaloosa, two sports writers and PF talk about(Slam) CTT. Just like the twit to have a fair and balanced forum huh?

JFT and Shanehead were so over the top, the other three could not get a wiord in. Shanehead: "The Tubby watch is on, he will be gone (fired) before the season Ends"

All agreed that CTT was: "at best a 7-4 coach."
