Afternoon kickoffs in September

What say you, fine people of Auburn?

According to the athletic site, the next two games are scheduled for 1:30 PM. These games have no chance in hell of being televised outside of PPV and we're going to clean both of these teams' clocks, so it's not like playing in the heat is going to be a difference maker. Why have these games in the middle of the afternoon when it's still pretty damned hot? I suppose there's a time advantage for traveling, but I'd rather get back late than roast like a chicken while I'm there.

I'm sunburnt like crazy from Saturday, but the breeze was nice enough so that I wasn't hot.

The one thing I like about 11:30 kick offs: you don't miss an afternoon/night of college football. If it was a night game, I would have missed most of OSU/UT, USC/UGA and LSU/ASU.
