Auburns 2025 SEC softball schedule is set

Auburn's full 2025 softball schedule is set for first-year co-head coaches Chris and Kate Malveaux. In the 16-team SEC, the conference schedule remains eight series for each team.

Auburn's four home SEC series are March 14-16 against Texas A&M, March 28-30 against Florida, April 11-13 against Georgia and April 25-27 against South Carolina. Auburn's four road series are March 7-9 at Mississippi State, March 21-23 at Texas, April 4-6 at Kentucky and April 18-20 at Tennessee. Auburn does not play Alabama.

The SEC Tournament is set for May 6-10 in Athens, Ga.

Here is the current schedule, though nonconference games and at list two tournaments at Jane B. Moore Field will be added.

Feb. 13-16: Shriner's Children Clearwater Invitational. Opponents TBA

Feb. 21: Louisiana Tech, Rocket City Showcase, 1 p.m., Toyota Field, Madison, Ala.

Feb. 21: James Madison, Rocket City Showcase, 4 p.m., Toyota Field, Madison, Ala.

Feb. 22: UNA, 10 a.m., Rocket City Showcase, Toyota Field, Madison, Ala.

Feb. 22: Miami-Ohio, 1 p.m., Rocket City Showcase, Toyota Field, Madison, Ala.

Feb. 23: Jacksonville State, 4 p.m., Rocket City Showcase, Toyota Field, Madison, Ala.

March 7-9: at Mississippi State

March 14-16: Texas A&M

March 21-23: at Texas

March 28-30: Florida

April 4-6: at Kentucky

April 11-13: Georgia

April 18-20: at Tennessee

April 25-27: South Carolina

May 6-10: SEC Tournament, Athens, Ga.

Clearwater released their schedule today. Auburn will play:

Clemson on February 13th at 4:00PM

Virginia on February 14th at 10:O0AM

UCF on February 14th at 3:30PM

Charlotte on February 15th at 1:00PM

Oklahoma St. on February 15th at 4:00PM

Liberty on February 16th at 12:00PM

They posted the full schedule today. Not a very challenging non-conference schedule for Auburn. 
 

outside of Clearwater, Auburn plays at home for every non-conference weekend game. NC State, Rutgers, Louisiana, McNeese State and North Carolina being the only major teams. A midweek with Georgi Tech in Atlanta and a home-and-home midweek with South Alabama.

We do have 4 games in Huntsville, the weekend of Feb. 21.  As to level of difficulty, it looks pretty typical of schedules for the past ten years.  I checked 2016 for an example, and 2025's looks more difficult to me.  I think we have plenty of challenge for the team we have right now.

Take a look at Mizzou’s if you get the chance. Woof. Scheduling a tougher non-conference will just help with RPI.
