Proud Tiger 4,261
LSU has opened up as a 3 point favorite. Any bammers want 3 points and name the amount?
rexbo 104
What, this is a joke right? The NUMBER THREE team in the country, playing at home againt a lower ranked team, is expected to lose by the experts? How does that happen? You mean, the polls, even the BCS Poll, could be wrong on how good teams really are?!?!?!?!?

Its guessing what the gamblers think and trying to hit it so they say "It could go either way". The majority of gamblers aren't professional. Lines shouldn't really be considered as expert picks. rolltoomer 0
Like he said, the line is to get equal money on both teams. It's amazing how close the line is, though, quite often.
OlderWhiskey 997
I agree with both Aufan59 and roll toomer. The gamblers just want equal sums of money on each side of the line; at the same time, the line can be uncannily close at times, particularly late in the season. Let's see, was favored by 22 against , and won by . . . hmm, 22. uat was favored by 16 and won by 17.
