I know, I know, I'm not supposed to be listening to Finebaum, but an aTm fan just came on the radio and asked Paul who he thought would replace Franchione after this season. At the end of the conversation, Paul said he always heard Tuberville would "crawl" to College Station to be coach if he had the chance.

I know he spent one year there as DC before OM, but does he really have a love affair with them? Does anyone have any inside info?

Sounds like show bait to me. That being said I think he enjoyed his short stint there but it all sounds like cannon fodder to me.

During the middle of the summer, I tuned into the Scumster's show and he opened by making a statement to the effect of "Word has it out of Auburn, that USC contacted AU for a game and they turned it down." He made a vague reference to it being gossip and having no actual facts to back it up but.......

And the next three hours were filled with caller after caller talking about CTT being a hypocrite and scared to play anyone, blah, blah, blah.....

That's all it takes with Scumbomb and his faithful followers. Just make a vague reference to anything contrversial, true or not, and just sit back and wait for the fireworks.

Please don't start this crap again. I truly don't believe CTT is going to go anywhere anytime soon. He's built a hell of a program here and is enjoying it. I know this kind of thing gets talked about when you have a successful coach but please try to keep the speculation to a minimum until CREDIBLE (i.e., NOT finescum) surface.

You cant be serious about this can you?

1) The buyout makes it silly to consider.

2) CTT worked too hard to get here.

3) He has a plan for about 6-7 more years and then retire. Why would he move and spend the next 3-4 years rebuilding what Fran ran down?
