AWK 0
Just browsing ESPN, and I noticed that the poll of the day was "Which Team Will win this Saturdays showdown in Geogia?". So Naturally I voted, and the results sorta shocked me. Check out the map. Any of yall having the same problem trying to figure out these results? Oh yeah, and vote! It's one of those Finebaumian statistics that people spout off. Maybe back in 1977 it was 70-30. That was a long time ago. It's as close to 50-50 now as it's ever been. But idiots like Shane come of Finebaum and spin the 70% number just like they toss out that ridiculous 12 MNC number. You tell a lie long enough and some people will eventually believe it. Pretty sad/irritating that some of our own can't see through the lies.

TigerOne 1,307
well it could be according to the US Census facts High school graduates, percent of persons age 25+, 2000 75.3% uat whatevers Bachelor's degree or higher, pct of persons age 25+, 2000 19.0% fans seriously, so what, quality trumps quantity every time. Most Auburn fans realize they don't have to try and prove to anyone who would listen how great they think they are. Humble thankfulness and sincerity is so much better than uat's constant arrogant bs.

Come on.... Yeah, there are more UA hats and flags this year. The quiet ones have crawled back out of the woodwork. Just like there were more AU hats and flags last year by about a 4-1 margin. Who sells more vanity plates? Did you know Auburn surpassed Alabama this year for the first time? Don't sell AU short. The balance has shifted and isn't likely to shift back any time soon regardless of what one season holds.

AUesquire 1
I saw a poll several years ago that came out showing the fans across this state are divided approximately Bama: 70% AU: 20% with all other schools comprising the 10% balance. I know, hearing about a poll several years ago means nothing. But, I don't think the numbers are far off from that. Many of the families in this state became Bama fans back in the day of the Bear. No allegiance, just jumping on the bandwagon during the years they dominated. Anyone remamber the "50/50" split of tickets for the Iron Bowl in Birmingham? Can anyone ever say it was even close to 50/50? Even when it was Auburn's home game it would be at least a 40% Bama crowd.
SouthLink02 8
Uga,with a healthy Shock, could only muster 17 against SC???? Using that game as some sort of holding point on us really never works. Our offense didn't even score an offensive TD against SC in 2002 yet we did fine that season as well. Tigermike 3,851
Poll of 11 states I have conducted an unbiased poll of people in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Florida, Louisiana, Colorado, South Carolina, Missouri, Oregon, California and Tennessee. I say unbiased, because I only asked one question, "Who will win the AU vs. GA game this weekend? The consensus by a staggering 100% of the people polled is that AUBURN will beat Georgia. To be fair, I must state that all people polled were family members all of which are AU grads or fans.
AUesquire 1
I feel that's a perfectly credible poll TMike. While it may have a margin of error somewhere in the range of plus or minus 95%, I still applaud you in your efforts to take this poll and post the results. War Damn Eagle and let's slap those hairy pups.

No doubt the uaters buy more Walmart plates (and all other uat junk) than AU supporters. Also, I do remember some poll stats that did show uat with approx a 55% - 32% lead in fan base (13% others). I believe this is really close to reality. Just remember, these are the sidewalk, go with the crowd, bandwagon, etc (I kept it clean) types that we don't ever want to claim as our fans. AWK 0
Well I know in Birmingham its UAT fan base 99% Auburn fan base 1%, that percent consists of the 5 guys i work with and TM No but seriously, I know a lot of Auburn Grads move to Georgia, but I still find it hard to believe 70%, thats crazy ***One more thing, Now we hold four states, Lousiana, Florida, South Carolina, and........drumrole please.......DELAWARE! lol

GalensGhost 0
In the spirit of fairness I took an email poll of people in Washington DC. Columbia SC, Atlanta GA, Los Angeles CA, Providence RI, Dallas TX, Columbus, MS, Little Rock AR, Louisville KY and Boise ID as well as a sample of people from a dozen cities around the state of Alabama. You can imagine my surprise to discover that ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of the people in this country are Auburn fans. Every single respondent to my highly scientfic poll claimed allegiance to the Orange and Blue. Given the stunning results of this survey, I can only conclude that the nine people who call in to Finebaum every day (and make up the entire 70% they of the state they claim) are playing a role for entertainment purposes only. AUesquire 1
Galen, No one is buying into any nonsense. The point to all of this is that regardless of the actual distribution of fans, it is absolutely a given there are far more Bama fans in this state. In my view, that says one thing...bandwagon. Every Bubba, Harnage, Leroy and Cletus in this state who never set foot on the campus of the University of Alabama, became a fan during the dominance of the Bahr.
