There was one team that had the same number of votes to win the division as they did to win the overall SEC title. That team.... the Alabama Crimson Tide. Why even let them vote, they probably voted AU 3rd or 4th. AU received votes below 2nd by doing the math this is easy to see. It is likely they received some 4th place votes.

Assuming Auburn received no 4th place votes the break down would go like this.

Auburn 87 First place for 87

Auburn 9 Second place for 18

Auburn 8 Third place for 24

This adds up to 129 our total score.

How many of the 5 bammers voted AU 3rd? Some possibly could have voted AU 4th or lower, but there are to many combinations to worry about thoes options.

Why let them vote at all if they are going to be above and beyond bias?

I pointed out a similiar thing on the voting. They are only 14-16 points ahead of Arkansas for third place. IF those 5 homers werent voting Alabama First overall and First in the SEC West, they would likley have been fourth in the SEC West. Dont make a big deal out of it. Just feel sorry for them.
