The Lombardi Award honors the top lineman in college football. To be eligible for the award, players must be a down lineman on either side of the ball, including tight ends and linebackers who line up within five yards of the ball. Duckworth and Groves are among 101 players nationally on the watch list. Duckworth has already been named to the All-SEC first team by both the coaches and media. Groves was named a first-teamer by coaches. ...just for those (many from west Alabama) who say losing Marcus McNeil and Stan McClover left us with unfillable holes at O-Tackle and DE.
