PChamp119 96
Sorry if this was mentioned earlier (but I didn't see it). Unfortunately Alabama has tied Auburn for #39 among public institutions overall Hopefully that'll change soon and we'll go back on top. I recall last year Bama actually went one up on Auburn only for Auburn to take them over in the Spring. Unless I am not reading this correctly - it says Auburn ranked higher in the school of Business (for undergrads) I always thought Alabama bragged about having such a great Business school. They must of meant their Masters program? As a Student Recruiter, I'll get to use this because Bama used to claim they were better. I don't know about any others, but Auburn's Engineering school was ranked 35th of public schools as well. http://www.ocm.auburn.edu/news_releases/busi.html http://www.ocm.auburn.edu/news_releases/usnews.html

Wild, I never figured that student recruiters would post (and I paraphrase) "Sc*** Auburn!" on message boards. Learn something new all the time. DCWarEagle 0
Yeah, I saw that Auburn slipped and Bama jumped a few spots and now we are tied (along with like eight other schools, including Tenn ) at number 88 for all "national universities". A little disappointing. Hopefully Auburn can reclaim its positions as the highest ranked school in the state, and maybe move up sometime soon. I know these rankings have their problems, but they are highly influential and it would be nice to see Auburn a little higher on the national scene. On the bright side, only three SEC schools are ranked ahead of us. Not surprisingly, Vandy is the top ranked school in the SEC at 18. Florida and Georgia come in at 47 and 60, respectively. Kentucky and South Carolina are tied at 112. Arkanasas, LSU, Miss St, and Ole Miss bring up the rear, as they are all lumped into the "Tier 3 Category). Here's the link to the full list (though aside from names, most of the content is hidden unless you are a premium member): http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/college/r...tudoc_brief.php And the third tier: http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/college/r...tudoc_brief.php
aubie123 0
I just graduated from the University of West Florida here in Pensacola, Florida. I was considering going to Auburn in the next few years for my MBA. How solid is AU's MBA program? UWF's MBA program is ranked number 56 in the nation. Thanks for your input.
