TitanTiger 17,188
First off, my apologies on the false info on Powe. I can promise you, the family was confident he was in and did NOT see this one coming. I usually don't post "hear-say" information, but I thought I was safe. Again, sorry. But if you want to know what happened, I think I can tell you. From all indications, the NCAA was prepared to clear him UNTIL a representative from AUBURN UNIVERSITY contacted the NCAA and asked them to review certain documents. It has to do with a course he supposedly took in 6 days. That's coming straight for Jerrell's family in Wayne County. They are pissed at Tubberville, to say the least. I think it's pretty sorry to do a kid that way, but hey, that's college football at it's finest. Guess we will have to see what happens next.http://olemiss.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?fid=...571&style=1 Two things: 1. I doubt anyone at Auburn has the time nor the inclination to bother with the signees of a team that's beaten us like, 7 times in their history. 2. There's a reason the saying "You got Powed" came into existence. You made your bed by signing the head case. Don't blame us if he hasn't got his crap together. saniflush 0
I agree. Doubt highly that anyone from our house has anything to do with this. Let's say for argument sake that someone did....They are mad at us because their player didn't do what he had to do to get qualified? Shreks' family is reaching! Proud Tiger 4,261
I love the quote in one of the posts way down on that thread: "Starting in Closner's place has been Taylor Britt, one of the famous Cullman Britt brothers, whose skeletal remains will one day single-handedly keep creationsism from being taught in our schools." ------Chad Gibbs before last year's Iron Bowl. MDM4AU 280
Any of you remember the smack from the rubes at this site? Wonder what they think about being 1-3 and losing to Wake Forest today 27-3.
johnwegl 11
Didn't wake lose to a 1-AA team? I would not be surprised if they are on probation before next season, followed by coach O getting the boat (that's if he's not gone before from losing to MSU AGAIN).
