of their Pre-season super seniors which includes another Bammer commit. This is beginning to stink to high heavens with bias as they add Burton Scott as number 9 and you can still count on them adding Tyler Love which insures that Bammer will land at least 5 of the top 12 players in the state should the present commits hold. The top 12 shows OBVIOUSLY that it isn't biased towards Alabama.

When ESPN has Burton Scott in the top 20 players in the NATION...don't you think it's a little odd that he's #9 in the Bham News super seniors?

You think having Tyler Love in there is bias? Have you seen his offer list? He's a rivals 100 member at 27. He's ranked the #8 Tackle in the NATION on scout. How is that bias? Name one guy who's not going to be ranked ahead of him who should be.

Same for Burton Scott. If it's bias, name me someone who should be ranked ahead.

Having Burton at 9 is BEYOND laughable. Ron Ingram is anything but a Bama homer.

from what i understand, Rivals is doing some re-ranking Monday or somewhere around there based on some summer camps, 7-on-7's, etc etc.. you would probably know more than anyone. of the guys on AU's list who do you feel should be ranked higher?

Rivals rankings come out monday.

For AU recruits...Blair Irvin will probably be a 4 star, but not on Monday. The Juco re-evals come out later.

And I expect Jarien Moreland to end up a 4 star. The guy is huge.

I would know more if I actually had access to Rivals . I'm in Sweden and the computer I'm on doesn't want to load ANYTHING from the Rivals network.

As for current commits:

Drew Cole wont get upgraded because he's a white DB who's receiving absolutely no hype from ANYONE. Vance Smith wont get upgraded because from my understanding he hasn't attended any camps or done anything to make Rivals want to upgrade him. DeRon Furr will probably stay around where he is now. Like mentioned, Irvin will probably be a 4-star whenever they do their big JC/Prep update. Moreland probably ends up rising (or he SHOULD) but it might be a bit early for that...although he did dominate at both ours and LSU's camp, and also held his own against Marcus Forston when Glades Central played Miami Northwestern in their spring game. Damion Allen has appearently added quite a few big offers since he's commited (Scout lists Miami, LSU, Tenn, USCar, Arky as having offered) but I dont expect him to move up (if any) either.

In other words: I'm not expecting much. I expect the opposite for Bama, whether they deserve it or not I wont get into.

Definitely a little silly to think that the Bham news is only adding Bama commits or Bama leans to their top 12. I think the biggest problem I have with the list is that the players on there have already committed to Bama. A few of the top 12 will come to Auburn, don't worry. A few will go out of state. We'll get a few of Florida and Georgia's top 12. It all evens out in the end.

Also, you have to realize that we're not going to offer a scholarship to anybody who can't compete at the Div 1 level. Just because they may be a three star doesn't mean they don't have potential. AJ Hawk, anyone?

Ron Ingram came out with #8 today. It's AU lock TJ Barnes. TJ Barnes, who's ranked 44th at his position on rivals, and not ranked on scout...is ranked ahead of Courtney Upshaw and Burton Scott.

If you think this guys is a Bama homer, or has ANY clue what he is talking about, then you just WANT that to be the case.

Lets hold off on deciding the validity of your comments BamaGrad until the final 12 are in. After all, one has to include at least one or two likely AU commits in the field of Bammer leans and commits to at least maintain some absurd simblance of neutrality which no Auburn person buys into.

Most of us know full well the bias of the Birmingham media because we have had to live with it for all of our lives. For example, if anyone saw the recent fawning by Finescum, Karle and Dubberley over Satan on Good Day Alabammer, it would make almost anyone sick. All their noses are so brown they can't breathe and their lack of professionalism and neutrality was disgusting. One comment in the paper said: "It resembled a bunch of teen-age girls backstage at a Justin Timberlake concert." Many ask the question: "Why doesn't Auburn get any respect?" The reason is simple! It's because such people as Finescum, Karle, and other aspects of the state's media set the standard for disrespect. Finescum's show is one big SNIDE REMARK about Auburn's very existence and virtually every Television sports show in the state gives priority coverage to the Bammers over Auburn. When the media in your own state disrespects you and your achievements, why in the Hell should the nation be any different? It's time Auburn people boycotted and/or voiced their discontent for this bias coverage in a way that hits their pocketbooks. Only then can be expect fair and unbiased coverage and treatment. We need to start with the newspapers and Television and the Finescum show.

Why, if Burton is considered in the top 20-30 players in the nation by EVERY service...ranked behind a guy who isn't in the top 500?

Is it because of the Birmingham News being a Bama homer? That's it.

Bottom line, these people want to sell papers and get listeners. It isn't in Finebaums best interests to be a bobo honker of EITHER team. His honking goes in cycles. When the ratings start to dip, he'll blast bama. When blasting bama begins to slow the traffic...he'll hammer Auburn.

If you didn't notice that the majority of Auburn folks have quit calling Finescum, then you are the most ignorent person I've ever seen and if so, there must be a reason, right? That's certainly not true of the Bammers who call in daily in mass! Moreover, the number of Bammer associated guests number 3 to 1 over guests with any Auburn ties. Finally, who in the world do you think SHANE constantly ridicules on SCUM'S show. Hell, I'm certainly old enough to know full well what the Scum's game is and how he plays it as well as you but I disagree with you......in principal and content. In fact, if you heard the Tubberville interview the fact they allowed so many bama fans a chance to talk to an AUBURN head coach just to ridicule him is a final nail.

If his show stops being so koolaide rich and returns to a more balanced show it will be possibly a reasonable afternoon listen. At this time its just horrible.
