I think we will win 8. I think we win one we shouldn't and lose one we shouldn't. This is assuming we don't have any major major injuries.

I could see 7 or 9 wins. But I think 10 is pretty much out of the question.

I also expect us to win a bowl game if we win 8 in the regular season. Honestly, 8 wins with our schedule this year...we should be a better team than our 8 win bowl counterpart.

that's what I figure too. Arkansas, Georgia, FSU, Tennessee, LSU, and Auburn then throw in MSU ( who beat the turds last year) and I just don't see uat winning 8 games in 2007.

that's what I figure too. Arkansas, Georgia, FSU, Tennessee, LSU, and Auburn then throw in MSU ( who beat the turds last year) and I just don't see uat winning 8 games in 2007.

You left out a Key Trap game or as I like to call it, a Looking ahead game... The game against Vanderbilt will be Key. Think about it for a second, a loss to Vandy will have the Press All over sabahr. Which will in turn take some focus off of Arkansas the following week, and that slight loss of focus will come back to haunt the turds as they face a three game stretch as tough as anybodies in the country.

All of you guys are soooo giddy about us losing to Vandy. It aint gonna happen. If we were going to lose to them, it would have happened last year.

You guys keep putting it in there because it would make us look bad. Sure it would. Why not just predict us to go 0-12. That would be super devestating. And it would make Saban look really bad.

Hell why not predict a 154 point win by Auburn in the fall? Wouldn't that be bad too? I mean it COULD happen.

154 is not realistic. It would take way more than 11 sacks for that to occur. But you are right. It could happen.

bg dealing in absolutes again. I hope now more than ever that vandy gets that win on the second week of the season. Perhaps we need to save this thread for after that game. If vandy does in fact get the win vs. uat, BG will deny he ever said "It ain't gonna happen". Teams that lose to MSU aren't in much of a position to consider any team a sure win.

thats cool, we're saving that thread with everybody taunting KSU's QB because he's a "fatty". afterall, a while back AU folks were hyping up KSU like they were the next big thing and that they were a boost to your SOS.

It's just not reasonable to EXPECT Vandy to beat us. It hasn't happened in like 20-30 years. So why ASSUME it will happen this year?

Sure they MIGHT beat us. But looking at both teams, especially in August, it's wrong to assume Vanderbilt will win. Are you picking them to beat UGA this year too?

Nope... BG, my judgement isn't clouded when I see Vandy sitting in front of Ark., UGA, and FSU. Vandy has a fairly talented team, talented enough to beat alabama...

Now, as far as my judgement being clouded because of wanting yall to lose a game so badly, that would be the Western Carolina Catamounts game... If that game is televised, which it probably will be, UWC will throw Everything at yall because they are finally on TV and not a hand held camcorder being called PPV. If the ya get beat here.... Yall might as well close up shop and forfeit the rest of the season, because Coach $atan would've spontaneously combusted in front of the media.

Seriously though, I don't really see Vandy winning, but I could see them scaring the life out of a few people this year, so why not Bama? Where is the game being played anyway?

No with the FSU thing, Alabama fans flooded the FSU ticket office for UA/FSU tix. Myself included. They had over 100,000 requests the first day, so they shut it down. They took our money and held it for 6 months...then refused any ticket order with an Alabama address.

When Finebaum had David Lamm on his show they had a guy from the Gator Bowl on. In that segment he mentioned that Bama fans were buying FSU season tickets for the chance to get tickets for the game in J-ville. :gofig:
